Our weekend in Des Moines

Ahhh..a day off!
Sent the kids off to school this morning after a yelling match over a water bottle...I dunno about those 2 teenagers..LOL!
Ryan and I have already been to target and we are just messing around and playing until we go meet my dad for lunch at 11:00.
Hopefully Ryan takes a nice nap, I have lots of cleaning to do to catch up from working all last week!

Laundry stinks
I hate laundry. Enough said. With all of us in the house I can't believe the sheer amount of laundry I get to do per week. With the kids growing so fast I don't buy them a ton of jeans, but that means more laundry to do during the week for me. Tonight is laundry night. 5 loads waiting for me. Oh boy.

Happy Birthday Bailey!!
Happy birthday to my big girl, my princess in a house of princes and my special little girl. Not so little at 13, but will always be my baby girl to me.

I was tagged!
Thanks Joy for tagging me, sorry it took me so long to get it on my blog. The book I am currently reading is Gorky Park.
"For example, an officer returning to his Leningrad boarding house at the end of the war noticed a stain on his ceiling."
Not exactly earth shattering is it. Doesn't even tell you much about the book! It is a good book, one I would recommened for the plane ride over on your trips.
Not much new here. Bailey turns 13 tomorrow so we will be celebrating that. Ryan is growing by leaps and bounds. We are getting rid of all his 18 month clothes as he is just bursting out of them. He is really enjoying more advanced toys these days, so the baby toys are going paka.
He is still deathly afraid of Tigger, the bouncing one and the tumbling one, so we have continued to keep those out of site.

It must be a boy thing.......
So Ryan's list of "disgusting boy behavior" grows. We already knew he was enamored with his...well, you know. At bath time it is his favorite thing to play with.
Not long after he came home he started farting and laughing after he did it. Then came the burping and laughing. Now if anyone does any of the two, he laughs out loud. But then there was tonight.
He hacked a luge. Yes...my 18 month old hacked a luge. I about died. The boys however are still rolling on the floor laughing which encourages him even more. Sigh...poor Bailey and I, the only two DIGNIFIED people in the house.
Please help us. :)
