Bath Time!

Max was a stinky dog so we decided to give him a bath before Ryan got one. After Max got out he likes to act wild and crazy and jump over the kids. Be assured Ryan jumped right up after this and laughed with us. He wasn't hurt at all! Kid just takes a licking and keeps on ticking!

Bailey's New Glasses and Haircut

His vocabulary that is.
He has learned so many new animal sounds and words since starting daycare it is amazing. He can hiss like a snake, meow like a cat, ask to go up, baa like a sheep and the list goes on and on. He has been walking around and says, "waa daa" and pointing. We are pretty sure he is saying "What is that?" So we tell him.
The big kids went back to school today after all the days off and it was nice to send them out the door...LOL! By day 5 we were all ready to go somewhere else. Didn't help that I got the stomach flu this weekend and was in bed the entire weekend. Aaron sure pulled his share of work and running after 3 kids. Maybe gave him some perspective...LOL! I could hope.
I am off to take my dad a whopper for lunch. After 2 months of dieting before his surgery, he can't wait!

My baby is 18 months old!

Where has the time gone?? He has been with us for 1/2 as long as he was in the orphanage already. Today he has turned into the teething monster as he is getting 3 more teeth in. The funniest part of today was that he felt the need to chew on something and as Aaron was laying on the floor, he chomped him on the behind! Chandler and I laughed so hard we were crying. Aaron put Ryan in a timeout but we were laughing too hard for it to do much good. I still start getting the giggles just typing about it...LOL!

It was SO cold today (-20) going to work and my van didn't want to turn over going home from work. BRRRRR! This weekend it will get warmer so Ryan will get to be out of the house.

Update on my dad

His surgery went great, they were able to get the cancer out and it hadn't spread. AMEN! He won't need any further treatments and will coming home from the hospital today. He was in good spirits and not alot of pain this AM when I saw him.

Also, please keep one of my favorite family members in your prayers as their job was lost unexpectedly yesterday.

My boys......

Ryan loves to be downstairs in the basement with Chandler while he drums. He carries around a pair of drum sticks and bobs his head to the music while Chandler drums. They can do this for a long time...it's noisy, but good for both of them.














This is their other routine. Chandler is a man of one cereal only....crunchberries is his choice this month. Ryan LOVES crunchberries and every morning he sits with Chandler while he eats breakfast and has his own little pile of cereal. It is amazing to us that he never grabs Chandler's bowl, Ryan just eats his own cereal and talks to Chandler.

Please keep my dad in your thoughts and prayers as he undergoes his surgery tomorrow to remove his cancer.

This kid dreams in English!

I knew he was becoming about American as apple pie due to his love of french fries and pizza, but we don't always quite now what he is saying. Part of it is due to him being little yet (17 mo) and not having a huge vocab, but there also things that he says that we swear are Russian.
Last night we heard over the baby moniter him start babbling in his sleep and all of a sudden he says "HOT!" He must of been dreaming of french fries....LOL!
Another crazy day today. Chandler and Bailey have music lessons, I am finally getting my hair cut (haven't since Oct), and Bailey is getting new glasses today. They are so cute and she looks so grown up in them.

What a BIG boy we have!

Ryan cried for all of about 10 minutes at daycare this AM and that was it. He then got down to his favorite thing. Opening and shutting all the drawers and cabinets! Our daycare mom is going to be latching the 2 that weren't done tonight...LOL!
He also really likes her farm animal play set. He makes them go places and thinks that everything moos.

He even had grilled cheese sandwich and peas for lunch. TABLE FOOD!! What a big boy!

My job is great...I was by myself today and it was fun. It is so fast paced I hardly have time to breathe, but it sure makes the time go fast. I really do like it. The staff there is so wonderful, they work so well together and care for each other alot. I already feel like I fit in and it was only day 3! Tomorrow is my last day for the week and Friday Ryan and I are going to bum around. :) Maybe in our jammies all day...!

Daycare Update

To start off with I really like my job. It's doing exactly what I want and it is flexible and part time. The perfect fit!
Ryan did okay at daycare. He cried, like I expected him to in the AM, but took a nice nap, had some lunch and did much better in the PM. He is there 2 days a week and then my mother in law with watch him 1 day a week, so it will be a good fit. Everyone assures me it will get better and pretty soon he will be BEGGING to go! Being around the other kids will be so good for him. He already came home having learned a cow says MOOO!

Both he and I were so tired last night. We crashed before 9 and I was snuggling with him in the big bed and ooooppps....that is where we both woke up this AM at 7! Guess we needed the sleep.
He also begged us for a bottle about 8 pm last night and daddy gave in and made him one. He sure enjoyed it. I think is fine as I am sure he needs extra security right now with all these changes.

Chandler and Bailey are sure good with rolling with the punches during this change. Although we assured them that mom working meant more fun stuff to do with the extra income...LOL! Chandler immediatly thought more fish were in order and Bailey wanted to make a trip to the mall. I reminded them that I don't have my first paycheck yet!

I am off to go to training today and learn more about the place I will be working. Ryan is heading to daycare for a couple of hours....hopefully it goes well!

20 hours a week and Ryan starts daycare on Monday! :)

Job Interview Update

It went well I think! I went to high school with the person that would be my supervisor so that would be cool.

If I get it great...if not, that is okay too. Means I need to keep looking for that perfect fit!

Chandler is off at the rink trying out his new skates. I wish it was a little closer so he could walk, but as long as he is off having fun..........

Bailey is over at her friends house, I swear they must just treat her like a princess she is over there so much. Our house must be the boring one...hehe...good!
