I feel like I have lived my past 7 weeks in kind of a blur. Working full time, trying to manage 3 kids and their jobs and not really know what was happening at work was really taking a toll on me. Throw in school ending, summer school, etc and it is no wonder I got walking pneumonia this weekend!!
As of today, life is heading back to normal. I was offered the directors job at work, I turned it down as much as I wanted to take it though. I know it is better that I am home more now. So I will go back to my 3 days a week and be happy after they hire someone new. Now THAT will be interesting to say the least as I got along so well with my former partner. I do know that my administrator has the best interests in mind in picking out a partner for me to work with and that makes me feel good.
I am enjoying my day off today and feeling lots better.

Surgery is over and all is good!
Right now my little guy is playing with his toys with his sore eyes and sore IV spot. But he is a TROOPER! Strong Russian tank my daughter called him. He will be ready and rearing to play by tomorrow. Thanks for all the good thoughts. I have some great friends!

The days are just a flying by.....
Ever since my work load increased, my days have been filled with work and home with Ryan and not much else.
Oh...I forgot the little thing called my 20 year reunion last weekend. Holy fun time! I partied like a 20 year old for 2 nights in a row and I suspect I am still paying for it.
Tomorrow Ryan has his eye surgery. I suspect it will be easy in and out procedure, but with any surgery I am still a little nervous. I will update after with news. I hope this is the fix that we expect it to be.
The kids are at their dads for a week and it has been really quiet around the house...a nice quiet though. I wish I had more time to clean, cook, etc...things are really behind.

Such a busy week!
Working so many more hours has proven do really do my schedule at home in! Add the end of school and two kids home by themselves, life has gotten really interesting.
Ohh..not the mention the local newspaper has been over interviewing and taking pictures of Ryan and I and the members of our adoption group for a story that will be in the paper in a couple of weeks. Today they are coming to take more pictures.
We are getting ready to schedule our 1 year post placement soon. I can't believe it has almost been a year. It just FLEW by.
I decided I needed to give myself a gift for working so hard....so I bought an iphone. Heh! It's coming in a couple of weeks. I can't wait....................
